Begin watercolor unit.  Starting with a small practice sketch, students will find a reference picture and draw it lightly with pencil, then get the feel of the watercolor and its inherent properties.  Demo. wash, gradauated wash, cloud, saved whites and drybrush techniques. Draw the inside of your desk drawer--use detail!
