Academics

Christian Home & Bible School strives to be a leader in the pursuit of academic excellence. This involves a purposeful growth in the following areas: curriculum, the teaching/learning process, students, and attention to the demographics of our changing world. All CH&BS teachers hold college degrees (with more than half holding a Master's degree or higher) and are certified in their subject area. They are Christ-like role models who love and encourage their students to succeed.

Based on research by a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools committee, student surveys, parent surveys, and the NSSE Survey of Instructional and Organizational Effectiveness, CH&BS teachers implement and align curriculum through teaching strategies, learning activities, instructional support, resources, and assessments shared by our common vision. Student assessment and standardized tests reflect the goals and instructional strengths of the Christian Home & Bible School academic program.

Actively engaging students in learning is Christian Home & Bible School's overall strongest instructional area. This is accomplished in part through academic field trips, guest speakers, tutoring, Junior Achievement, technology, and media assistance.
