Since 1983, more than 100 children have been blessed with loving Christian homes. Ranging in age from newborn through elementary school, these children need a great deal of love and attention as they adjust to a stable family life. They deserve a second chance to love and be loved, regardless of the reason for the separation from their biological mother.

As a licensed adoption agency, Mount Dora Children’s Home is able to unite caring Christian families with infants and children needing a safe, nurturing home where they can grow up and enjoy life. “It doesn’t matter how you become parents … it matters that you did,” reflects one young man blessed through our adoption program.

Building beautiful families allows us to share the joys of loving children and raising them in solid Christian homes.

Chartered by the state of Florida, we train, inspect and license each eligible Christian family seeking to adopt a child. We work together to make the child’s transition into this home successful. Continued counseling services are available for both new parent and child. Meeting every child’s needs is important as they make adjustments and deal with their sense of loss that often overwhelms them.
